Allan has been involved in hospitality since his teens as a chef, food author and reviewer as well as being involved in food tourism and events, and has consulted for local and overseas businesses.
Allan has co-authored more than two dozen cookbooks and food guides, including The Foodies’ Diary, Foodies’ Guide to Melbourne, Chilli Jam and the best-selling Campion and Curtis in the Kitchen.

He has long estqblished links with restaurant owners and local hospitality industry experts, plus an array of chefs, cocktail experts, chocolatiers, patissiers, wine gurus and speciality bakers.
