Chef Tamaki shares her passion and knowledge for Japanese food and culture in this very special masterclass.

Learn how to choose the best fish and seafood from an expert, plus advice on the best knives and utensils from this expert in Japanese cuisine. Tamaki will meticulously prepare a whole kingfish plus top quality atlantic salmon and tuna in the beautiful Studio Raw Materials venue.

See how these fish are transformed into super fresh sashimi and sushi, and served with traditional accompaniments. Guests can watch and learn how to make California rolls and Tamaki’s baked sesame kingfish with a selection of traditional salads.

Everyone will then move to the private dining room to enjoy this delicious handmade feast of Japanese food.

This masterclass is a perfect event for team building and corporate entertainment.

Chef Tamaki was born and raised in Osaka. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture at Kobe University then decided to follow her dream of becoming a chef. Since then she has worked for a number of Melbourne’s well-known restaurants including the RACV Club and Mezzo. Her passion is introducing people to the food and culture of Japan.
