Join Melbourne’s hospitality experts for a unique wine masterclass and dining opportunity at the acclaimed Ombra Salumi Bar.

Ombra is a part of the Grossi Restaurant group headed by executive chef Guy Grossi. His dedication to ‘la cucina Italiana’ has brought Guy many accolades, including an award from the Prime Minister of Italy.

Inspired by the ‘Salumerie’ of Italy its focus is on delivering the highest quality cured meats, cheeses and drinks.

This makes Ombra the ideal venue to enjoy a private tasting of Italian wines followed by a stunning shared feast.

Grossi sommelier Michael Smith will lead guests through Italy, via the glass, with a very special hosted tasting of regional Italian wines.

This will then lead into a wonderful feast of Ombra’s acclaimed food.


MENU
A recent menu included  stunning prosciutto and salumi, a selection of cicchetti snacks and beautiful pizza.
Followed by roast porchetta with an assortment of side dishes and finally sweet treats to conclude.
This is a very special meal and one which will be remembered and treasured for years to come.

BEVERAGE PACKAGE
The meal includes a beverage package of sparkling, red and white wine and beer.

Michael Smith is head sommelier of Grossi Florentino restaurant and a hospitality industry expert on Italian wines and varietals.
